The Senate Legislative Information System records roll-call vote 217 of the 114th Congress, 1st session, on June 22, 2015, at 5:38 p.m. Question: confirmation of Peter V. Neffenger, of Ohio, to be an Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security. Result: nomination confirmed. Yeas 81. Nays 1. Not voting 18.

The one recorded nay is Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.). The not-voting list includes, among others, Sens. Cruz, Lee, Rubio, Kirk, and Toomey. Those are the clerk’s names, not a reconstructed whip count.
